Carbine Returns From PAX!
Two weeks ago, members of Carbine attended PAX Prime. While we didn't have an official presence at the show, we did get to take time to wander around and see the games that excited us most. We asked each of the folks in attendance to talk about what their favorite parts of PAX were:
“Honestly, while I love PAX, my favorite part of the event was meeting with our fans. It’s the part of the game development that I enjoy the most, and why I’m so committed to the community building aspect of my job.” - Troy Hewitt, Director of Community
"On Sunday night, the Wildstar crew and a few random PAXers ended up playing Cards Against Humanity with an intoxicated septuagenarian who was in Seattle for reasons unrelated to PAX. Sadly, like most things that result from Cards Against Humanity, pretty much nothing that happened during that game is actually printable." - Leah Miller, Content Designer
"After repeatedly going back to the SolForge booth at PAX I’m super thrilled to see that their Kickstarter got funded. Goodbye money, hello new collectable trading card game!" - Steve Moret, Lead Software Engineer
"I had heard stories about Johann Sebastian Joust previously, but this was my first time actually getting to play it. Even though I was terrible at it, I need to get a copy of it as soon as humanly possible, because there is nothing I love more in the world than smacking things out of peoples’ hands." - David Bass, Senior Community Manager
We've also posted over on the WildStar site about the Fan Meetup at PAX! We hope to see you again next year!
